THE PERFORMANCE

Our Spring Performance is the highlight of the school year. This is optional, however, directing the students' learning toward the goal of performance is an important focus of dance training. Next year's performances will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 7pm, and Saturday, May 19 at 3pm and 7pm. All performances will be held at Northview High School in the Performing Arts Center, Grand Rapids. Tickets go on sale in late March and must be pre-ordered by April 15th. An order form will be sent home with your child, and tickets can be picked up at the studio during the week of May 2nd.

REHEARSAL INFO

Students will be given dress rehearsal information the month prior to the show. This information should provide you with the time(s) and day(s) the student is needed for rehearsal. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to call the Studio at (616) 866-4208.

Students are required to arrive at the rehearsal in recital costume and stage makeup (eyebrow pencil, eye shadow, eye liner, blush and red lipstick). Your students teacher will provide detailed instructions on how hair and make up is to be worn. All costumes should be nearly ironed. Be sure all straps, headpieces and accessories are secured and neatly pinned. We encourage students to follow all of the guidelines as this truly helps them anticipate the process the day of the show!
